***Someone put their project in the glaze kiln before it went through the bisque kiln so it exploded onto my project.***
This is my set of 3. I threw 3 bowls on the wheel that fit within each other. The smallest bowl was put into the gas kiln so that is why it is a darker color. It was glazed the exact same way as the other two bowls. Also, the blue chunks at the bottom of the smallest bowl are part of someone project that exploded in mine. After the other 2 bowls came out of the bisque kiln, I stained cactus's on the inside of the bowls. I then dipped the bowls in a clear glaze. One art element that I used while making this project was shape. When I made these bowls, I focused on making them more of a bowl shape, more wide than tall. Also, all of the bowls are the perfect shape to where they all fit within each other. One design element that I used while creating these bowls is contrast. When I stained the cactus's, I put pinkish/red flowers on the cactus's that really contrast with the light green color of the body of the cactus.
